MesoAmerica Practice Test | Sub Work

Reminder of Substitute Expectations: 

• Follow directions the first time

• Maintain quiet or silent voice level. You can work together as long as your voices are low and your answers are your own.

• Remained seated. Move to a different seat if the sub asks you to.

• Clean up and push in your chairs. (Last period, plug in all the laptops so they will be charged for Monday! :)
• You may not listen to music or play music videos. You can refer to any of your past readings, or use google to help you with the practice test. You can go to Youtube, as long as you are watching videos related to the Maya, Aztecs, or Inca civilizations
• You must submit all 3 forms for today before the end of the period for credit. It is okay if the MesoAmerica Practice Test is incomplete. You will be graded on what you are able to finish, the quality of your work, and the sub's report. Late submissions or no submissions will result in a zero.
• Any person who is named by the sub for inappropriate behaviors will have their grade docked 10% for every issue the substitute names in addition to feedback points and a detention.
• Any person who is shouted out by the sub, will receive 10 extra credits point on this assignment.
• Any homeroom with an all positive report will 1get a Free Period that the homeroom can choose to spend how they'd like (ex. watching a movie, recess time, party, etc)

1. Do now | Read the 10 substitute expectations in the Substitute Commitment Form. Select at least 2 that are easy for you to follow and 1 that you might struggle to follow, but will put all of your energy into setting the example for today.

2. Mesoamerica Practice Test | Complete as much of this form as possible. You (and your homeroom) will be graded based on how much you get done, and the quality of your answers. You may use any of the past readings and google to help you answer any question. 

• One more time :) You must submit this before the end of the period for credit. Late submission or no submission will result in a zero.
• I suggest stopping 10 minutes before the end of class to submit and then completing your Exit Slip.
